Free NYC Attractions

I’m sure you have heard that NYC is the place to be, and the truth is that even though that cost of living here is very high. What you didn’t know is that pretty much all most famous NY attraction are “FREE” sounds great right? You can walk up and down in the city and wont cost you a penny, and if you are lucky you might see a movie being film or Nick Jonas rehearsing for the MTV awards right on 34ST & 8th ave. (That had happened to me a few times)

So here are some of the places that won’t cost you nothing and  I’m sure you will enjoy and fall in love even more with this city

Brooklyn bridge and Brooklyn bridge park . The views you will get from this places are amazing. and if you are feeling hungry you can try NY most famous pizza places Juliana’s or Grimaldi’s don’t let the long lines outside the restaurants stop you for trying authentic NY pizza the wait is so worth it. While you are enjoying the walk up in the Brooklyn Bridge make sure to watch out for crazy bike riders I had seen so many people get hit by bikers.

High Line in Chelsea, and The Chelsea Market. These 2 places are great the High Line is such an enjoyable place for walking and while you enjoy the views you are surrounded by nature and some great pieces of art. Chelsea Market is just fun to see you will find so many different places to eat and shop.

Soho.Who doesn’t like to shop, well if you do Soho is your place to be, so many different shops pretty much you will find all the most popular stores. and who knows you might end up walking side by side with super model. They like to shop in Soho.

Little Italy, and Chinatown Must visit places you will see, they made attractions are imitation designer items, and food of course. i have to say if you have a little time go and visit Flushing Main Street one train ride from the city the last stop Flushing on the 7 train. There you will find the most authentic Chinese food in all NYC no kidding you will feel like to have travel all the way to Asia is just amazing.

Grand Central. You might remember this place days after you have visit it because of its beautiful architecture, Grand Central counts with some shopping stores including an Apple store and food courts.

New York Public Library. Who hasn’t seen the movie “The day after tomorrow” well that’s exactly where the movie took place you can enjoy the architectural design and walk around all the library, just make sure to keep the noise level down there are people who are really studying.

Central Park. Such a wonderful place, you will be surrounded by nature, carriages, horses, a Zoo and water. you might need a full day to discover all the park is huge. also you can go to Bryant Park, Washington Park, Battery Park and enjoy a nice time

Rockefeller. IF you travel to NYC you will enjoy to take a walk to Rockefeller the streets are all lit up and you can see the Ice skating rink, i would recommend the ice skating ring in Bryant park or central park they are just a little bit bigger.

The Metropolitan Museum and Museum of Natural History. They are so worth a full day to spend in there learning about history. the museums are huge so they are a full day of reading and learning. The Moma is a contemporary Museum, you will have to pay to enter on that one but if you go on Wednesday entrance is free so is the Bronx zoo.

Oculus. is a beautiful white architectural design, full of shops, great lighting and the path to the New Jersey transit. Which you can take to one of my favorite spots in Jersey The Frank Sinatra Park such a beautiful relaxing  place just minutes away from NYC.

Staten Island Ferry. You can enjoy a nice free ferry ride look back and see how the city disappears in the back also you will get a pick of The Statue Of Liberty. have your camera ready it goes by fast!.

Times Square. Of couse this is such a wonderful stop almost breathtaking to see all those lights at night is just something you have to be there to really feel the real NY

These are some architecturally famous buildings that you can see without paying Flat Iron building, Empire State Building and The Freedom tower.

Last but not lease. Enjoy every moment you have, a tip to really enjoy everything, you will have to disconnect from social media and the photography hobby and look around and appreciate completely where you are. Enjoy!!
